Under 10s win final

For the second successive year our U10a's made the Cup Final - but this time there was a real determination to WIN! The game started at a frenetic pace - with Sale showing the better composure and football. The first quarter domination was rewarded wit a great team goal by Tom Hendley - the result of some crisp passing and movement from defence to attack.
Solid defensive play from Richard Ball, Sam Carmont, Ben Jones and Sam Bywater laid the foundation for a second quarter where Broadheath's pressure was to no avail and when a foul was called Tom Hendley's shot was fumbled by the keeper and poacher Tom Lloyd stepped up to score.
Jake Miller entered the fray - with 2 real chances, one a great header just over the bar and the other a spectacular over-head kick. Jack Dyson, Captain for the game, Elliot Oley and Declan Law remained solid in midfield.
Overall the stats say it all - Sale had the greater possession; more shots on goal (Richard our goalkeeper was complaining he was bored!!!) more time in opponents half.
....and this time a 2-0 scoreline to celebrate!
